Named after PETER ORLANDO HUTCHINSON – a Victorian author, poet and artist who spent his adult life in Sidmouth, Orlando cottage is a converted former milking parlour that has been thoughtfully restored and decorated to a delightful holiday home. Its interior walls still bear the original charming brickwork. This together with the exposed roof beams form a more recent adaption of the building, giving much character to this open plan luxurious modern pet-free cottage.
Living – Cosy and romantic open plan living area with vaulted ceiling and ‘Amtico’ flooring, Diplex Optiflame Electric Wall Fire, fast WIFI Internet access and a 360 degree rotating ceiling mounted Sony Bravia 32” smart TV, enabling guests to view the TV from the sofa and from the comfort of the bed.
Kitchen – Fully equipped high spec integrated kitchen units with dishwasher, washer/dryer, gas hob & oven, full size fridge/freezer, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine and milk frother, toaster, utensils, etc.

Sleeping – Tastefully separated from the main open plan living area with a partition and voile is the sleeping area with a super comfortable king-sized eve hybrid mattress with spring pocket and memory foam, Fogarty quilt & Dreamloft pillows offering a restful night’s sleep.
Bathroom – A Jasper Morrison designed suite, a steel bath with wall mounted taps, heated towel rail, traditional riser shower, Amtico flooring and ceiling integrated DAB sound system all forms a relaxing bath/shower experience after a full day of exploring the local area.
Outside
Patio and Garden – French doors opening out onto Orlando’s own private courtyard and garden area with a patio table/parasol and 4 cushioned chairs, exterior lighting, gazebo & water feature giving a tranquil and romantic ambience. Gas BBQ is available upon request.
